Car week is winding down, today actually being the final day. There was a Cars and Coffee event at a local shopping center yesterday morning. I was a little discouraged at first, since the Ferrari F40 that drove past me didn't end up being there. It took a little while to get things rolling, but I was definitely glad I stuck around. Here's some shots of what I found interesting.
Local Motors brought not one, but two rally fighters. These are surprisingly luxurious on the inside!
Even the race preped model
On a scale of 1 to turbo, how turbo'ed is this?
This appeared to be an AC replica, as in it had AC badges and an AC number plate.
And then two sex machines rolled up. They had a noise to match their looks. I had seen a dark grey one driving around the area a few days ago, but these two had Michigan manufacturer's plates on them.
The two Alfas were escorted by none other than the Hellcat Challenger
It sounded like a Harrier jet taking off in a tunnel trying to escape a hundred pissed off lions.
That evil-eye air intake was incredible to see in person too.
Everyone was so excited about the Hellcat, this thing showed up unnoticed.
The best thing about this car was that it looked like it was driven. It had bugs on the bumper, the chrome was pitted, some of the paint was scuffed, it was excellent. The owner said he had it since 2010 and it was time to auction it off through Barrett-Jackson.
Edit: the owner was Craig Jackson, as in the Jackson in Barrett-Jackson!
I was about to call it a day when a Shelby Series One pulled in. Having just seen my first Series One in person at the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! auction a few days ago, I decided to check this one out too.
Be sure to check the tag " !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! " for more of my coverage of Car Week!

that's a hell of a variety find you've got. So many points hit from foreign exotic to home land hero. Great shots.

thanks! Definitely a good turn out. One stanced kid showed up but I think he chickened out and parked far away

Isn't the owner of the Veyron Craig Jackson?

Yes is it, it was parked outside of the Concours today with a reserves sign with his name. I didn't realize he's the CEO of Barrett Jackson until just now!
